I have bases in Edinburgh, London, Lincolnshire and the Scottish borders, so have experience of both southern and northern gardening.
However, for an interesting project, whether you want a rain forest garden for your Caribbean home, or a cactus garden for your place in Morocco, then, naturally, I'm more than happy to travel. Incidentally, I do know a little bit about Caribbean plants, and cactuses, should you garden in either a jungle or a desert.
I make an initial charge of £350.00 plus expenses for a first visit. Thereafter, I charge a flat rate per hour, for travel, drawing up of ideas (these are usually based on photographs of your garden, with a quickly drawn overlay of what I think would improve the scene - unless you need something more 'finished'), site visits, plant ordering and so on. The charge is £60.00 per hour, and I invoice you once a month.
The iris, by the way, is the pale form of the native wild flag iris. The ship is Sea Cloud II, on which I was lucky enough to visit a large number of Caribbean gardens.
