The Good Gardening Group

Ok - what is it? Well, it is the rare double form of Eranthis hyemalis, and the purple flower belongs to Primula vulgaris ssp. sibthorpii. And the Good Gardening Group? Well, you pay a small subscription (though for the moment entry is free) for six months access to a swiftly increasing number of gardening articles, all of which have been published in various UK papers and magazines. There will eventually be around seven hundred of these, all between 800-1000 words long, all dealing with with many aspects of gardening, and all written for the serious enthusiast. As they have mostly been angled towards UK, even Scottish, gardening, the idea is that you, the subscriber, can add notes, via the forum, to anything that takes your fancy - whether notes on hardiness, your experiences in your garden, good recent suppliers, or places to see good things growing. That way, the articles continue to be useful to gardeners everywhere, and we all get to know a lot more about gardening.

The pages also give you access to the text, and often many pictures too, of out of print gardening books. At the moment, these are all mine, though distant plans are to include many other garden writers too. Indeed, the GGG may take off as a separate website - why not be in at the beginning?

At the moment, registration is free - but once I have put in many more articles and books, it will cost £6.00 to join for six months. At this moment, the site contains the book THE GARDEN TRIUMPHANT, the FORUM, and more that sixty articles. Over the next few weeks, GEORGIAN GARDENS will appear, and many, many more articles.

So, I hope that encourages you to subscribe here. Please fill in the Registration form, and the following page gives you your username and password.

When you have to pay, it will be courtesy of PayPal.

So... go on, join the Good Gardening Group!

Oh, and if you like the site, please tell your friends! And have a look at the FORUM too. So, here we go!
